Golf Outing 2024
Event Details
After very successful outings the last TEN years, plans are being finalized for 2024 and the 11th annual outing! The venue this year is again the Fyre Lake National Golf Club in Sherrard which is now under the fourth year of new management.
The format and running of the outing is being handled almost exclusively by the course. They will be very involved in all the day’s activities. So let’s play some golf! Here are this year's event details.
Golf
DATE: Saturday, August 3, 2024
TIME: Check-In and Registration at 7:30 - 8:45 am. Shotgun Start at 9:00 am.
PLACE: Fyre Lake Golf Club, 1057 Fairway Lane, Sherrard, IL 61281 309-644-4575. Click here for a map to the course.
ENTRY FEE: $600.00 (Includes a TEAM of 4: Green fees, Cart, Range usage, Prizes, Live scoring, a light Breakfast, and Lunch following at Fyre Lake). Payment Due July 25, 2024.
PAYMENT OPTIONS: Electronic payments will be handled by Venmo. It's fast, convenient and there's nothing to mail. Make Venmo payment to @Bryant-Luxmore. If you still want to pay by check then please make it out to the Bryant J. Luxmore Memorial and send to Leonard Luxmore, 2976 State Hwy 17, New Windsor, IL 61465. Please make sure the course receives your payment within 14 days of signup to guarantee your spot.
NOTE: *Venmo does not charge for sending money from a linked bank account, debit card, or your Venmo account. There is a 3% fee for sending money using a linked credit card.
FORMAT: Tournament will be played as a Scramble with 4-person teams. You will register as a team to enter. There will be 3 flights for prizes as well as additional contests on the course. Click here for further rules.
CANCELLATION POLICY: If the golf outing is cancelled due to weather or other events, each team will receive a refund for Golf (green fees and cart), but still will have a lunch ticket, as well as a gift bag.
* Confirmation of your entry will be emailed to the team captain within a day or so. Lunch tickets will be included in the gift bag handed out during registration.

Non-Golfer Lunch
This year there are no additional luncheon tickets being sold. However, anyone who would like to join the festivities may still come out and participate in the camaraderie! Food and drink can be purchased at the clubhouse. Lunch will begin around 2pm.
